Dr Darran Foo
Dr Darran Foo graduated from UNSW and completed his GP training rurally on the NSW South Coast. He is a Fellow of the RACGP and is a strong advocate for patient-centred care and takes a holistic approach to patient management.
He is a SCOPE-certified clinician in weight and obesity management and has a special interest in this space. Although, in the true sense of generalism, Dr Foo sees patients across the entire continuum of general practice.
This includes but is not limited to, chronic disease management, preventative medicine, men's health, musculoskeletal conditions, psychological health, skin conditions and minor procedures. Dr Foo is also a GP at Pilot, a digital healthcare clinic by Eucalyptus.
He is also actively involved in teaching and research — he is a supervisor for both GP registrars and medical students. Dr Foo is currently completing his PhD at Macquarie University conducting research into how we can improve our primary care system in Australia.
