How prescription sleep treatment works

Pilot’s sleep treatments contain the body’s own hormone for regulating sleep, and an all-natural relaxant to tackle the stresses that keep us awake. Together, they work to regulate the sleep cycle.

What do I need to know about side effects?
No prescription medication is without the possibility of side effects. The ingredients in Pilot’s sleep treatment can cause headaches, dizziness, nausea and drowsiness. Taking the capsules as directed can help combat this.

When prescribed a treatment plan, you will be provided with detailed information about potential side effects. If at any time you experience side effects while on a treatment plan, you will be able to connect with your practitioner to discuss your options or alternative courses of treatment.

Is sleep treatment addictive?

FAQs

What is insomnia and how do I know if I have it?

Insomnia is a sleep disorder that involves difficulty falling asleep, as well as staying asleep during the night.

Common symptoms of insomnia also include waking up too early and not being able to fall back to sleep, not feeling rested upon waking, daytime tiredness, ongoing worries about sleep, difficulty paying attention, irritability, depression and anxiety.

How does pricing on Pilot work?

There is a one-off $20 cost for the practitioner's consultation – which is refunded if you're not suitable for Pilot.

The cost of medication starts at $1 per sleep. All plans include free, unlimited follow-up consultations, discreet delivery, and automatic refills every 2 months (you can cancel at any time).

What is the best way to sleep?

There are sleep hygiene guidelines you can practice to improve your sleep quality, such as waking up at a regular time each day, avoiding blue and bright lights before bed.

However, if poor sleep quality persists, it may be time to consult a GP. Whereby you experience a sleep disorder such as sleep apnoea or insomnia, sleep hygiene alone will not fix the problem and sleeping pills or treatments are required.

A Pilot practitioner can review your experience with sleep and help prescribe sleep medication to ensure you wake up feeling energised and ready to tackle your day.
